Branding, Packaging, and Promotional Materials
The Asali brand founded by Hanadi Asad and her husband Jamal Ali was originally a passion project; a creative outlet between full time careers and growing family of 7. With two complementary facets to the brand -- middle east inspired desserts and event planning, Asali steadily grew in the Triangle with a dedicated customer base and grateful clientele. When the business reached a critical mass of demand and dedication; the couple took their first step in ushering in Hanadi’s decade long dream – they signed their first lease on a new construction retail space. Asali Desserts & Café was on the books.
That meant everything would be built from the ground up, including the branding. That’s where we come in. Asali already had an existing logo, but it needed to be livened up and creatively utilized to tell the world a consistent brand story. Yumna Ali Design Company started this story with a fresh color palette and typography, creating new elements by deconstructing and remixing existing ones; designing packaging and marketing materials, and ultimately helping to create the new Asali experience what it is. A feast for the tongue and for the eyes.
